Job Summary:

UPMC Corporate Services is hiring a full-time project manager, creative services to help support the day-to-day operations of the Creative Services Department for its downtown location. This position will be working regular business hours, Monday - Friday. The project manager, creative services will provide internal direction, leadership, and accountability for project management efforts of the design, photography and video groups and across marketing and communications.

 

Responsibilities:

·          develop and maintain detailed project plans, this includes utilizing standard project documentation and methodology and project tracking and reporting procedures

·          develop cross-functional, change management and implementation strategies, ensuring that all of the participating parties have committed to effective implementation of the processes and procedures

·          identify key project objectives, risks and drivers and create plans to manage these elements

 

Basic Qualifications:

·          bachelor's degree in business, communications, or related field is required

·          master's degree preferred (extensive related experience will be considered)

·          a minimum of five years of experience in a professional setting, including at least three in a specific project management role

·          excellent computer skills required, including Microsoft Word, Access, Excel, Microsoft Project, and other pertinent computer software packages

·          strong management, analytical, problem solving, communications (oral and written) and conflict resolution skills are required

·          this position requires excellent Project Management skills along with effective planning and organizational skills

·          the ability to perform planning for large initiatives/projects, managing all tasks required to providing services to meet client and business needs within budget and targeted deadlines

·          must be able to successfully lead technical and cross-functional teams for complex technical projects

·          must have ability to learn and adopt new technology and principles quickly

·          must be skilled at running meetings and have the ability to facilitate interdepartmental meetings to resolve complex issues
