Every NYPA employee helps to make a positive difference in New York State. Presently, the Power Authority is seeking a dynamic individual for the job of Journeyman Electrician at our Frederick R. Clark Energy Center in Marcy, NY, located north of Utica. _ You will be primarily responsible for performing maintenance and construction work on complicated electrical equipment. Maintain, test, install, repair and remove all types of electrical components and controls. Such equipment includes but is not limited to electrical equipment associated with generation, transmission, and building services. You must have experience working with instruments such as voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, meggers, timers and oscilloscopes. To apply you are required to have a minimum 5 years current, in-depth experience as an Electrician preferably working in a utility setting or similar type of field experience. Must have completed an Apprenticeship Program or applicable college degree and have basic knowledge of A.C. and D.
