Summary:

Supports the design, development, and enhancements of the public website and maintaining the company intranet.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

•       Develops and supports creative processes and procedures to drive projects, ensure deadlines are achieved in accordance with marketing initiatives and brand standards are maintained.

•       Develops the content and art direction of the public website.

•       Develops the publication of marketing promotions on the public site.

•       Develops the design and content of the company intranet.

•       Develops concepts and graphics for web promotions, digital media (email and digital branch displays), and print materials (flyers and posters).

•       Develops small scale web applications when needed.  Coordinates with Application and Development department for medium and large scale projects.

•       Interprets website analytics to find navigation improvements for websites to improve user experience and increase sales.

•       Assists with content editing for the web.

•       Works with Web Design Manager, business units and management to identify appropriate target audiences for promotions.

•       Work strategically to identify brand consistency issues and provide solutions.  Assist and contribute in overseeing the company’s overall brand.

•       Maintains current knowledge of web technology and design trends.

•       Troubleshoot, beta-test code to ensure proper web functionality and cross browser service.

 

Required Skills:

•       Must possess advanced working knowledge of web technologies including HTML, DHTML, ASP, CSS, , Flash, PDF, FTP.

•       Excellent working knowledge of Adobe Creative Software (PhotoShop, DreamWeaver, Acrobat, Flash and Illustrator).

•       Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, and Access).

•       Project management and presentation skills.

•       Concept Development:  Develop or extend campaigns into interactive media that are strategically sound, instantly compelling and highly engaging.

•       Other duties as assigned.

 

Designs and constructs web pages/sites including incorporating graphic user interface (GUI) features and other techniques.  Maintains and provides ongoing design of the website, promos and ad banners, and seasonal content specials.  Performs a variety of complicated tasks.  Typically reports to a project leader or manager.  A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

 

 

Computer Skills:

•       Required software and technical knowledge:  HTML, ASP, , PhotoShop and CSS.

•       Preferred software and technical knowledge:  ASP.net, DHTML, XML, and Flash.

•       Solid understanding of practical benefits and limitations of internet technologies (Flash, , CSS, Ajax).
