We are actively seeking an HR Generalist to individually provide hands-on Human Resources support for a Ventura County (CA) office of 100+ employees. Will be a member of the local management team, must be skilled at interpreting and enforcing laws/policies/procedures, responsible for recruitment, oversees performance management process, processes terminations and manage turnover, maintains personnel records, handles WC/UI claims and leaves of absence, etc. Relocation support will not be available.
Requires at least a verifiable Associate's degree in a related field, with a Bachelors preferred. Also, candidates with PHR/SPHR certifications are strongly preferrred. Minimum 5 years of experience in HR, preferably in healthcare, with at least 2 years in management.
MUST have HR experience from both small and large companies.
